Authorize a third party application to connect to a Phraseanet account

To authorize a third party application to connect to Phraseanet, an OAth2 with a user account must be implemented.

Note

You can either use your user account or create a new one with the specific rights related to the features of the application that connects to Phraseanet.

To implement the OAth2 authentication for a third party application:

  • Connect with the user account of the application
  • Show the Developer tab of the account settings
  • Click on Create a new application
  • Edit the form then validate it

The OAth2 connection information are displayed. They can be used as connection settings in the third party application.
